C.J. McCullough Enterprises, LLC is a professional consulting company specializing
in leadership development, strategic planning and management, organizational change and leadership, business development, and project management.
Cheryl J. McCullough is President and CEO.
 
Throughout her career, Cheryl J. McCullough has amassed over 15 years
of experience in these areas and in the areas of program planning and
execution, leadership training and development, student development
and educational program development. She provided visionary leadership
as Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Clinton Junior College for
10 years. 
 
While at Clinton Junior College, Cheryl managed the Capital Campaign for a
new library and was responsible for overseeing development of the project.
She managed two federal grants, the U.S. Department of Education grant
for “Strengthening Historically Black Colleges and Universities”, (Title III)
and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) grant
for Historically Black Colleges and Universities. She also managed the writing
of another HUD grant. 
 
Cheryl is co-author and organizer of the college’s pictorial history book. During her tenure at the college,
she was certified by the accrediting agency as an accreditation evaluation team member. Prior to joining
the administrative team at the college, she was employed by the Charlotte Housing Authority as a Resident
Selection Specialist for 5 years. This position was instrumental in training and counseling residents in the area
of self sufficiency. While at the Housing Authority she was certified by the Department of Housing and Urban
Development as an Assisted Housing Manager and a Public Housing Manager. She earned her undergraduate
degree at Livingstone College with honors and her Masters Degree from Pfeiffer University. She also
completed the Management Development Program at the Harvard University College of Education.

 

Cheryl is an active member of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church-Charlotte, serving as a teacher in the
L.I.F.E. (Lay Institute for Equipping) Ministry, and a mentor with the Ladies of Influence Ministry. She is also
an active member in the Eta Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
